SUMMARY


The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the management and negotiations of national/regional service
agreements service and project for interior, exterior and equipment maintenance ensuring the best service value for retail
and surplus locations. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy
and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

This position runs through 11/1/2019.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Participate in negotiations for repair and CAPEX projects and roll-out programs from prospective vendors to
    obtain the best value for services performed at the retail stores 
  • Develop fiscal schedule for maintenance service trades and manage vendor compliance to deliver
    expenditures within the plan
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, building officials, landlords, and multiple levels of management within the
    company to resolve all issues and ensure the efficiency of services for retail stores.
  • Interact and resolve code violations, citations, and other issues that arise with regulatory authorities
  • Solicit and qualify prospective national and regional vendors for services performed at retail stores and surplus
    properties nationwide
  • Arrange to have work outside the scope of a contract completed, issue the appropriate purchase order, review
    all corresponding invoices, and track all payments
  • Provide expediting roll-out services to support special projects and as required by the Managers, Facility, in
    extenuating circumstances, services, and capital projects
  • Maintain a database for all contractual information
  • Document vendor performance and quality of work with regards to the scope of national/regional contracts
Experience / Requirements
  • Two (2) years' of experience in Facilities / Property Management or Construction Industry required
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) preferred
