Job Description SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the daily operations and staff activities and results of assigned support staff to maximize store operations, minimize ordering gaps and ensure efficiency in our daily business operations for order processing of Schedule II Controlled Substances. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned

  •  Remain knowledgeable of all hardware and software technology and changes as well as training and development of CSOS coordinator staff on service delivery that meets or exceeds established service levels of customers impacting results of both associates and customers. Assist with signing needs when required
  •  Provides oversight and advice on all order quantity issues, up to and including threshold limits, and OMIT flag avoidance
  •  Determine the daily problem-resolution activities of assigned CSOS coordinator support staff as it relates to  onsite hardware, software, electronics equipment and strategies to ensure maximum process efficiencies are met
  •  Assure appropriate staffing through appropriate scheduling at critical times to ensure service delivery levels are met or exceeded
  •  Manage support activities as it relates to CSOS associated with store openings, relocations, and closings as well as conducting  review of ongoing data integrity of information
  •  Manage CSOS operations, budgets for cost center and contribute to annual planning cycle by making decisions on maintenance and system upgrade needs  as well as coaching, training and continuous development of all associates
  •  Assure proper security is maintained for all CSOS system access and address issues pertaining to issuance of, revocation of, and changes to digital certificates
  •  Administration of all CSOS coordinator staff access is maintained through proper renewals and submission of accurate associate information
  •  Primary contact with wholesaler group liaison, DEA inquiries and CSOS Certification Authority (CA).
  •  Primary support of field leadership on any report requirements for external agencies

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position directly supervises CSOS Coordinators, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Rite Aid policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints

Experience / Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in Pharmacy required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Education
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)  required
