The Senior Corporate Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, recommending and on-boarding candidates for positions at all levels within the Rite Aid Corporate Enterprise. In addition, this individual partners with the Director of Corporate Talent Acquisition and acts as a Brand Ambassador both within and external to the Rite Aid Organization. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Frequent independent judgements are essential. 

The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid's brand and strategy, adhering to our core values and service attributes.


  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates to our organization, continually documenting and assessing the effectiveness of each resource
  • Partner with the hiring manager to develop a recruiting plan, gain insight into critical skills and/or cultural competencies and build consensus on a project outline/time-line to execute 
  • Partner with the Director in the ongoing evaluation, design and selection of recruitment and advertising methods ensuring consistency with overall Corporate Talent Acquisition strategy and goals
  • Build and maintain effective, service focused relationships with hiring managers to tailor a recruiting strategy, develop a slate of competitive candidates, present and consult on the review of the candidate population
  • Leverage relationships with hiring managers to position self as a recruiting subject matter expert in their given business area
  • Partner with Corporate HR Shared Services throughout the recruiting and hiring process to ensure effective cadence as well as compliance with internal policies and procedures including but not limited to pre-employment screening, consultation and creation of competitive offers and adherence to position requirements
  • Partner with HR Shared Services to identify and capitalize on internal talent development to support succession planning initiatives and management of internal talent benches
  • Partner with the Director in the ongoing development, enhancement and execution of programs including Corporate Intern Program, on-boarding programs and community outreach programs
  • Maintain and modify job postings and advertisements within the ICIMS ATS platform, electronic sourcing boards, external websites, publications, colleges and reference centers to source enterprise level talent. 
  • Administer and monitor the required pre-employment/background programs until completion in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Experience / Requirements
  • Five (5) years of experience in Recruiting, focused on professional or managerial positions required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Human REsources or related field of study
