Job Description SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to verify product location and quantities within the distribution center. The incumbent is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  1. Look up product information in the computer system to identify the product’s location and quantity in inventory.
  2. Locate the product in the distribution center to ensure the location noted in the computer system is correct.
  3. Count the number of items that are on the shelf and enter this information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  4. Stack items on the shelves after the verification process is complete.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

Experience / Requirements The following qualities are required:
  • Minimum age of 18 years old due to the work environment.
  • Ability to pass drug test.
  • Committed to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to work weekends and extended days on an occasional basis.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

The following qualities are helpful:

  • Ability to work day or evening hours.
  • Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.

Education

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
