SUMMARY

The Email & SMS marketing manager is responsible for managing the organizations email marketing campaigns and maximizing revenue opportunities from Rite Aid's Omni-channel, CRM and customer database.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Serve as Rite Aid’s in-house subject matter expert in email and sms marketing
  • Work with Rite Aid’s digital marketing and ecommerce teams to manage, develop, execute and measure retail and pharmacy email and sms marketing campaigns aligned with Rite Aid’s digital and omni-channel strategy.
  • Align with Rite Aid’s digital marketing and omni-channel strategy to develop automated triggered campaigns and transactional messages.
  • Review email and sms data to develop insights to improve Rite Aid’s email marketing program and better understand digital’s influence on in-store and online revenue and pharmacy scripts.
  • Develop an ongoing email testing program to improve open rate, click-through rate, and conversion rate with the goal of increasing in-store and online revenue.
  • Coordinate assets and deliverables with ESP, agencies and internal teams. Effectively work with multiple agency partners across multiple campaigns.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in email and sms marketing. Understand how these changes may impact Rite Aid’s omni-channel strategy and be able to analyze potential impact and course correct as needed.
  • Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities. Provide recommendations to improve targeted email and sms campaigns.
  • Develop tactics to help grow Rite Aid’s email and sms database. Further develop a strategy and plan to acquire new email addresses and mobile numbers.
  • Drive knowledge sharing, innovation and best practices across the organization related to email and sms marketing.
  • Successfully work and collaborate with Rite Aid’s category management and merchandising teams to prioritize category and product optimization within emails.
  • Provide recommendations to improve and optimize email landing pages and content.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top tier email partners.
  • Provide comprehensive performance reports through Google Analytics, 1010 and email and sms tools.
  • Define and help prioritize digital initiatives and site improvements to achieve email and sms success.
Experience / Requirements
  • Five (5) years' of experience in digital/interactive marketing, managing the development of mobile/tablet application platforms and opt-in collection and delivery of SMS/MMS/text programs and campaigns required
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Or equivalent education in lieu of experience
