SUMMARY

The eCommerce Merchandising Manager at Rite Aid is responsible for leading the strategy, assortment, site merchandising and development of our online catalog at riteaid.com/shop.  The position will have oversight responsibilities in optimizing category page presentation, taxonomy & site navigation, content development & acquisition and product display pages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly responsible for the strategy and development of the online catalog to optimize sales growth and contribute to bottom line profit.

  • Provide competitive analysis, including pricing and promotional strategies, and marketplace trends.

  • Build product assortments and develop and execute plans that satisfy financial targets.

  • Build seasonal frameworks, work collaboratively to ensure strategies maximize business opportunities as well as seasonal trends
  • Ensure products are live, assorted correctly and have all relevant content.

  • Analyze site metrics and related data to identify opportunities to improve merchandising and the customer experience across the various sites and product categories.

Experience / Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Five (5) years' of experience in web retail merchandising required.

PERTINENT KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND/OR TRAINING

  • Experience with Magento, 1010, Google 360

Education

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Science (BA/BS) in related field preferred
