Job Description SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to support the implementation, daily operation and measurement of clinical programs and healthcare initiatives which enhance the professional services offered by our pharmacists to improve our patient's health and wellness, stimulate customer acquisition and retention and enhance our company's vision of being a Health and Wellness destination. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  •  Support and facilitate communications on all clinical programs and healthcare initiatives to ensure proper filing, billing, workflow and reporting in stores
  •  Partner with the field operations team in the coordination and scheduling of training events to maintain and expand the scope of clinical services
  •  Work with field operations teams  on data collection and reporting for clinical programs to ensure accurate reporting for clinical programs
  •  Monitor state licensure requirements for immunizations and other healthcare initiatives to maintain regulatory requirements
  •  Track the completion of training programs and all company required continuing education programs
  •  Distribute policies and procedures to maintain regulatory requirements for Rite Aid
  •  Partner with field clinical specialists and operations teams in the ordering and distribution of supplies needed for clinical programs to facilitate the interest, support and awareness of clinical initiatives for Field Management and pharmacists
  •  Respond to inquiries and issues from both internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Partner with external vendors on specific projects and reports as designated
Experience / Requirements
  • Two (2) years' of experience in community pharmacy, technician/ retail preferred
  • Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes a plus

  • Or equivalent education in lieu of experience
Education
  • Associate’s Degree (AA)   in Business preferred
