SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to analyze supplier performance and make recommendations in order to increase supply chain efficiencies. Work with distribution network to ensure that infractions are reported accurately and efficiently and work as a liaison with suppliers partners to promote and enforce efficient shipping practices. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned

  • Act as primary contact for all Supplier Compliance Program Vendor Management inquires related to specific infractions that have occurred or are currently occurring and provide recommendations to the supplier on what they can change to become compliant or escalate a request for an exemption for the specific metric that may be affected
  • Perform root cause analysis  and compare metrics to determine suppliers with the most inefficient shipping behavior based on trends determined from scorecard information. Use this analysis to prompt supplier collaboration and drive efficient and sustainable shipping practices
  • Pull data and perform analysis to validate research of supplier disputed offset fees and infractions related to non-compliance
  • Partner with distribution centers to train on specific DC areas of opportunity, consistency, and accuracy in reporting throughout the network
  • Actively participate in monthly collaborative meetings to represent Supplier Compliance. Perform required analysis and provide recommendations to correct and resolve issues
  • Set up and maintain supplier contacts for Supplier Compliance Portal access and email alert notifications.
  • Adjust, approve, and process non-compliance offset fees for Accounts Payable
  • Perform weekly and monthly budget reporting as it relates to non-compliance offset fees and DC performance.
  • Actively participate in annual DC Compliance Assessments to measure strengths and opportunities of each distribution center.
  • Assist with the review and update of the annual Supplier Compliance Guide and both Metric Identification Guides
Experience / Requirements

• Three (3) years' of experience in  Collection and administration of data, Supply Chain, Logistics required.
• Or equivalent education in lieu of experience

Pertinent knowledge, abilities, and/or training:

  • Lean Six Sigma
Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)  Business, Supply Chain required.
