The Talent Development Specialist is a key role in a dynamic team focused on developing Rite Aid associates. The primary purpose of the this role manages, develops and delivers talent development solutions to support the strategic plan to grow competence in change leadership, shape the culture, and provide leadership development solutions to achieve organizational results. 

The Talent Development team is responsible for many cultural levers including talent development, leadership assessments and change management. This role reports to the Manager, Talent Development and is primarily focused on building sustainable learning solutions for the enterprise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage leadership development and/or high potential programs, in partnership with Manager, Talent Development, which includes oversight of content, structure, facilitation and engagement with the program.

  • Develop and execute effective learning strategies and solutions that include virtual, instructor-led training, eLearning, micro-learning, and blended learning with a long term view of learning needs as they relate to our strategy and leadership capabilities framework.
  • Provide one on one coaching for front line or emerging leaders as it relates to their involvement in learning programs.
  • Deploy valid assessment tools to measure behavior change as it relates to performance.
  • Develop standard tools and methodologies and ensure best practices are leveraged and sustainable.
  • Cultivate communication plans to accompany key talent development launches.
Experience / Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Training required

  • 3 years of experience in Learning & Development required

  • eLearning software and training technologies (i.e., Adobe InDesign, Captivate, Articulate)

  • Learning management systems (i.e., Cornerstone, Blackboard, SkillSoft)
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)  required

  • Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS)  preferred
  • DDI Certification preferred
  • Coaching Certification, ICF Accredited  preferred
