SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee all activities associated with annual planogram reset and revision schedule. In addition this position oversees the corporate drafting team that maintains the merchandising floor plans for all stores. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Monitor and coordinate all efforts and analytics in the weekly planogram reset and revision schedule. This includes reporting working capital and performance metrics improvements post execution
  • Developing store specific merchandising floor plans per Capital Expenditure Project Schedule, Divisional Vice President merchandising requests and implementing strategic merchandising changes through planogram process
  • Oversee and collaborate with Category Managers, External Suppliers, Advertising and Store Planning on new fixtures and signage used within planograms and other merchandising vehicles
  • Monitor and coordinate all efforts and analytics for corporate drafting team and segmentation remodel schedule and other capital projects.  This includes collaboration and ordering of fixtures, decor elements, and other materials as part of remodel process
  • Develop and coordinate annual planogram reset and revision schedule in accordance with labor guidelines for the calendar year


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position directly supervises Manager, Planogram, Administrative Assistant, Specialist, Merchandising Layout, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Rite Aid policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints


Experience / Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in Field Merchandising Manager required
  • 3 years of experience in Or Store Manager Retail Operations required


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)  Business required
