SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to analyze data using Retail 20/20, data feeds into Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL to locate potential theft and operational issues that cause loss. Lead investigations with Field Agents and Field Management when profit loss is found during initial analysis of data.  The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  •  Analyze information from Retail 20/20 to investigate and develop potential loss cases for internal theft. Write case reports when issues are found
  •  Review data/reports such as Big 3, Cigarette builds, Inventory trends to uncover potential shrink issues. Investigate and research shrink issues and coordinate with LP agents to address the issues at the store level
  •  Develop, update and utilize Excel, Access or SQL queries to determine potential theft or procedural problem within assigned area
  •  Support field users in Retail 20/20 and follow-up on case progress and update databases accordingly
  •  Develop training materials and facilitate training on any new profit protection software
  • Support/Assist with training of new users and continue development of existing users


Experience / Requirements

  • Three (3) years' of experience in  analysis or accounting required


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)   required
