SUMMARY

The primary purposes of this position are to administer assigned interior, exterior or equipment service contracts and to provide technical trade support that ensures the best service value for the respective locations.  The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes. 


Experience / Requirements



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

 

  • Interact with vendors, AHJs and multiple levels of management within the company to ensure the efficiency of services for locations and resolve related issues.
  • Manage, measure, and document vendor performance and quality of work with regards to the scope of the contract to ensure service quality.
  • Maintain master spreadsheet for each trade within areas of discipline.
  • Arrange to have work outside the contract completed, obtain bids, issue the appropriate work orders, and review and approve invoices to ensure work completion within department guidelines.
  • Resolve code violations, citations, and other issues that arise with jurisdictional authorities within areas of discipline to ensure company code compliance.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Provide technical trade support to the department to ensure usage of industry practices.
  • Travel to meet contractors, store operations associates, and/or AHJ Representatives if determined necessary by direct Supervisor and provide report back to management.


Qualification Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)   required.
  • 1 - 3 years contract administration/facilities management required.
  • Or equivalent experience in lieu of education preferred.
  • Or equivalent education in lieu of experience.
